Mastering Mealtimes

Breaking the Myth: Why playing with food supports mealtime success

Grow up being told not to play with your food? You are not alone, many parents have experienced this and it can be hard to let it go when we feed our child. Busy lives, picky eating and multiple children can make mealtimes feel stressful and time consuming. Our workshop provides evidence and information on how and why children eat, how to expand their exploration and tools to build a meaningful mealtime for the whole family!

Workshops currently run in Brisbane, Springfield and online with the next date TBC

$100 per person

Driving Through a Sensory World

Understand your child’s sensory world and help them shine

As sensory beings we all use senses to guide ourselves through daily life but what happens when our children don’t process input and have difficulty navigating their worlds? This workshops aims to provide parents/caregivers with the knowledge and tools to support their children to learn how to take control by picking up what is happening around them and learning how to respond in ways that help them achieve success and engagement in all areas of their lives. Maybe your child is sensitive to noise or seeks lots of movement. They may actively try to manage their sensory world or shut down when overwhelmed when it becomes too much.

Workshops currently run in Brisbane, Springfield and online with the next date TBC

In-person workshops will also have sensory tools available to explore and purchase on the day.

Reconnect with your Inner Child

Learn how to immerse yourself into your child’s imaginative play

Playing with our children takes many forms - some come easily and others not so much. Do you find it hard to bring out your inner child and be engaged and present during imaginative play? This workshop provides evidence on imaginative play development and teaches parents/caregivers how to let go of adult stresses/expectations and play at their child’s level. It provides tools and strategies to help build your child’s imaginative play skills whilst being not only physically but cognitively present.
